Our Story
Unwell Barbell started from personal experience.
I’ve struggled with my own mental health, and I’ve also known people who have lost their lives to suicide. That changes the way you see things. It made me realize how many people are fighting battles that nobody else can see.
For me, the gym became an outlet. It became somewhere I could go to clear my head and work through whatever I was feeling. It gave me something to focus on when I needed it most. I know a lot of people feel the same way.
That’s why I started Unwell Barbell.
This brand is more than clothing. It’s a reminder that you are not alone, even when it feels like you are. It’s for the people using the gym to get through hard days. It’s for the people who don’t always know how to talk about what they’re going through. It’s for anyone who keeps showing up, even when life feels heavy.
Mental health is something we need to talk about more. Too many people keep everything inside because they feel like they have to be strong all the time. But asking for help is strength. Talking about it is strength. Being honest about where you’re at is strength.
A portion of our profits goes toward suicide prevention charities because this mission is bigger than us. We want to help raise awareness, support those who are struggling, and remind people that it’s okay to not be okay.
Unwell Barbell is built around mental health, the gym, and the people who need both.
Thank you for being part of it.
